Reason for Issue:
Customers fitting Genlock expansion cards to the above products will
experience synchronization problems due to a PCB artwork error. The Sync
input to the ARM 250 (IC 13 pin 121) is taken directly to 0 volts instead of
being routed via LK6 pin 3. LK6 pin 3 is also incorrectly connected directly
to 0 volts.

Early A3020 - iss. 1 PCBs - 0194,500

Early A4000 - iss. 1 PCBs - 0194,600

   
Description of Change:
Dealers to return faulty PCB modules under FASTRAK process, to :-

Acorn Computers Ltd, Cambridge Technopark, 645 Newmarket Road, Cambridge,
CB5 8PD.

Marked for the attention of Ann Wood.
Faulty unit must be labelled 'FCO 2030 - Genlock fault'
