Reason for Issue:
Bug Fix to issue 1 and 2 Software (to prevent system crashing with hard disc
podule).

Types Affected:
All units up to serial No. 1002682

   
Description of Change:
Replace software (Eprom) 0276,202 Issue 1 or 2 with Issue 3. Please refer to
the Archimedes manual for details of EPROM fitting.

Claim Procedure:
Following the fitting of the replacement EPROM, Service Engineers should
complete a Service Report clearly stating the Serial No. of the Host Unit,
the FCO No. (above), and claiming the FCO Credit Rate (below) for labour
charges. The replaced EPROM in anti-static foam with the pins intact should
be returned with the Service Report. Acorn will verify the information,
process the claim for labour charges in the normal manner and issue a
replacement EPROM. Rework Doc.
