Field Change Order: 2036 Date of Issue : 12th July 1994 Applicable to : Acorn A3020 Reason for Issue: Two PCB changes made by Acorn allow the use of self-refresh DRAM on the PCB. Although within the specification for standard parts these have a higher than normal capacitance and when used with SOJ style memory upgrades, which also have a higher capacitance than ZIP, the additional capacitance slows the signal changes significantly and crashes the machine.
