The latest release of this superb mathematical word processor includes the following features:
  • Index & contents generation
  • Bookmarks

  • Save as Postscript
  • Save as TEX
    • Words can now be added to the index using a menu command or keyboard short cut. Other commands make the indexed words visible or invisible and let you include entries in the form 'file see also document' A new save command lets you save the index directly back into a docoment or as an !Edit file. The index and page numbers and alphabetic headings are added automaticaly.

    Contents lists complete with page numbers can be generated automatically from chapter and section headings. An improved search function no longer stops at the beginning and end of a document but will continue on to the caret position.

    Headings or any part of a document can be highlighted and added to a menu of 'bookmarks'. Choosing a bookmark from menu scrolls the part of the document containing it into view.

    The list dialogue has been extended to provide for automatic numbering of lists and user defined number bullets.

    Perhaps the most eagerly awaited feature by many users is the ability to save a TechWriter document as a TEX file. Anyone who has struggled with TEX will appreciate the new Save as command.
